The tropical Caribbean destination is situated within the state of Quintana Roo on the Yucatan Peninsula. This is now double what it was just a few years ago, making it the third-largest city in Quintana Roo. No matter how high the buildings though, the residents will continue to bring the relaxed Latin culture they are known for to the area.
